My little kitchen helper!

Since kaylie can sit in the bumbo seat she's been a big help in the kitchen. She really liked enchilada night.
of course it helps if she has something bright and colorful to look at:)

Happy Halloween!

So bre and richard invited us to their halloween party, which had excellent chili:) We also tried to go trick or treating in their complex and didn't have much luck everyone must have been out:(

Last night after i gave kaylie a bath she was just so chatty i had to tape it. every time i had pulled the camera out before, to tape her talking, she looks at me like i'm crazy and is quiet. she is just so cute i had to share:) kaylie also has this ability to scoot, so here is a video of her skills.

A new quilt!

So for a baby shower i received two of the same adorable flannel sets (thank you darcy and kecia:) instead of returning one set, bre gave me the idea of making a quilt out of the extra flannels. so here is the finished product. of course it's a little big, so maybe for her first birthday she'll get it as a present.

Kaylie rolled over!

so monday, kaylie and i went to bre's house for a play-date with adelaide. good times:) they were on the floor with adelaide showing off her scooting/ crawl and kaylie was getting frustrated on her belly and then she pushed up with her feet and swiveled her hips and rolled over:) i am so proud it's ridicules. of course she hasn't rolled over since then, and i'm trying to catch it, so now she's being all camera shy. so hopefully i'll have a video to share next time it happens.

So for the past three weeks i was helping out my cousin erin and watching their new baby boy seth. seth is two weeks younger then kaylie and it just cracks me up how different they are. so here are some pictures.

Two monthes old!

Kalie is getting so big! at her doctors appointment yesterday she weighted a little over 10 lbs, and 23 inches long. she is starting to smile more and more, even the start of laughing sounds. she loves to talk and scoot herself a little while doing tummy time. i am amazed at how fast she's growing and all the new things she's learning to do. we have also started a schedule of feeding every three hours and it's really helping her sleep through the night, thank heavens, i love my sleep. hopefully we can stay consistent and keep it up:)
